The Challenge: Opening the Heart of a Classic Queenslander

Classic Queenslanders are known for their charm, but their traditional "internal" layouts can often feel disconnected from natural light. For this extensive Camp Hill renovation, our mission was to deconstruct the darkness. We focused on bringing the sky inside and creating a seamless flow toward the home’s greatest asset: a sweeping view of the Brisbane city skyline.

Bespoke Cabinetry: The new kitchen features handcrafted cabinetry and natural stone surfaces, paired with a custom banquette seating area in the dining zone to create an intimate, social hub for the home.

The Lifestyle Wall: Storage Meets the Home Office

To ensure the living areas remained serene and clutter-free, we designed a full-scale custom joinery wall. This clever piece of "functional furniture" provides deep storage for the family while discreetly incorporating a fully integrated home office. It allows our clients to work from the heart of the home without the professional world encroaching on their family sanctuary.

Verandah Living: Maximising the Queensland Climate

In Brisbane, the verandah is our second living room. We meticulously styled the expansive wrap-around deck to act as an outdoor lounge that rivals the interior for comfort.

Wicker & View: We selected high-quality wicker furniture for its timeless Queensland aesthetic and durability, creating a serene spot to enjoy the breathtaking city views.

Custom Comfort: Throughout the home’s interior, we specified bespoke sofas in custom-selected fabrics, ensuring the scale and softness were perfectly tuned to the home's airy proportions.

A Heart-Led, Seamless Renovation

This project was a complete transformation, from structural changes to the final layer of styling. We took great care to ensure that every modern addition—from the skylights to the custom-built office—felt like a natural extension of the home’s original character. The result is a Camp Hill residence that feels grounded, bright, and perfectly suited to a sophisticated, sub-tropical lifestyle.
