Set within the Queensland countryside and surrounded by a beautiful natural landscape, this home was designed to feel timeless, layered and deeply connected to its setting. The interiors centre on bespoke furniture and natural materials, creating a warm and refined country residence that reflects Porch Light Interiors’ considered approach to residential interior design.

Custom sofas, ottomans and soft furnishings were locally upholstered in artisan printed linen fabrics and natural fibre textiles. These classic patterns and gentle motifs bring softness and character to the rooms, while a palette of blues, camel tones and soft greens creates a calm and harmonious atmosphere throughout the home.

Dark stained timber furniture was carefully selected to echo the richness of the timber flooring and introduce depth and contrast to the interiors. Layered textiles, tailored upholstery and thoughtfully chosen furnishings create spaces that feel both comfortable and enduring.

Natural materials feature throughout the home, reinforcing a strong connection to the surrounding trees and landscape. Paired with the home’s elegant architectural detailing, the result is a timeless country interior, one that balances classic design, bespoke furnishings and relaxed Queensland living.
