Set within the serene, untouched environment of Noosa North Shore, this striking residence was designed by a leading architect to embrace the coastal elements. We were engaged to furnish the home and transform its grand, airy proportions into a welcoming sanctuary. With a family of four active sons, the brief was clear: the interiors had to be exceptionally robust and beach-friendly without compromising on sophisticated design.

A Design Built for Life

With four boys and a constant flow of guests, every selection was made with durability in mind.

High-Performance Artistry: We curated a collection of furnishings that could withstand sand, salt, and the energy of a large household. We focused on "life-friendly" textiles and resilient natural materials that age gracefully.

Homely Scale: To ensure the architecturally designed spaces felt intimate, we layered the home with custom upholstered pieces and soft furnishings. This creates a grounded, "homely" feel that balances the home’s expansive glass and high ceilings.

The design reflects the raw beauty of the North Shore while injecting the family’s signature personality.

Natural Integrity: The use of timber and stone throughout the home anchors the interiors to the landscape. We complemented these raw elements with artisanal textiles and colourful accents, adding a lively, youthful energy that reflects the family's spirit.

Social Flow: Each zone was designed for both high-impact entertaining and quiet retreat. From the deep, comfortable sofas in the living area to the serene, light-bathed bedrooms, the home is a study in functional elegance.

The Indoor-Outdoor Connection

The transition from the open-plan interiors to the lush outdoor areas was a vital part of our curation.

Beach-Ready Sophistication: We selected outdoor seating and materials that invite the family to move freely from the surf to the sanctuary of the verandah, making the most of the sub-tropical Noosa climate.

Our focus was on meticulous detail and a commitment to creating a space that is as beautiful as it is practical.
